We launched our online drop-in services as a direct response to the challenges created by the global pandemic. We knew that not only would there be a dire need for our support services from existing members, but that we would see an increase of demand for our services.
We were conscious that due to the impacts on the National Health Service, there would be delays in diagnosis and treatment, caused by a myriad of unforeseen challenges including reduced services and anxiety caused by the ‘new normal’.
Twice a week we run online coffee mornings, via our closed BreastMates Central Facebook Group, where we also provide 1-2-1 sessions, as well as referrals to partners like MacMillan Cancer Care, to access specialist services including counselling.
To find out about our next in-person coffee morning join Breastmates Central on Facebook.
Our closed Facebook Group has hundreds of women who meet regularly.
Whether you have just received your diagnosis, in treatment or in remission…
we are here for you.
Whether you you are looking for advice, support or a chat
you will find a friendly face and a listening ear.
