What are the Woman and Home 50 Over 50 Amazing Women Awards?
The Woman and Home 50 Over 50 Amazing Women Awards is an awards event hosted by Woman and Home magazine and sponsored by JD Williams. The awards aim to celebrate inspiring women over the age of 50 in a variety of categories, from “Social Influencers” and “Super Entrepreneurs” to “Champions of the Arts” and “Changing Our Country”.
Which category has Veronica been short-listed for?
Veronica is one of five women who have been nominated and shortlisted for the “Friendship Above and Beyond” category. Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer would not be the success it is today, both in raising breast cancer awareness and supporting breast cancer patients in Birmingham, if it wasn’t for her dedication to her friends, Sue MacMaster and Carol Knaggs, who sadly lost their lives to the disease. This is one of two categories that are reader-nominated, so make sure you get to have you say!
